Transformation Lead

London 85K - 90K Permanent

We are seeking an experienced Transformation Lead to drive end‑to‑end organisational design and Target Operating Model (TOM) initiatives across a complex, fast‑paced environment. This role will play a pivotal part in shaping future business capabilities, designing scalable operating models, and delivering strategic change that supports long‑term growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of Target Operating Models, ensuring alignment with business strategy, customer needs, and technology capabilities.
  • Oversee organisational design initiatives, including role architecture, capability mapping, workforce planning, and structural redesign.
  • Partner with senior stakeholders to define transformation priorities, assess readiness, and drive decision‑making across operational and technology functions.
  • Deliver end‑to‑end transformation programmes, from discovery and assessment through to execution, embedding new ways of working and ensuring sustainable adoption.
  • Conduct impact assessments, develop business cases, and create actionable roadmaps that support organisational change.
  • Provide leadership across cross‑functional teams, ensuring effective communication, governance, and collaborative delivery.
  • Monitor transformation outcomes, establish success measures, and drive continuous improvement.
Experience Required
  • Proven track record in organisational design and TOM development within a telecommunications or technology organisation.
  • Strong background leading large‑scale transformation or change programmes.
  • Demonstrable experience engaging senior executives and influencing strategic direction.
  • Ability to translate complex business challenges into structured, scalable operating model solutions.
  • Strong analytical capability with experience building business cases and evaluating operating model options.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
Desirable Skills
  • Experience working in agile or hybrid delivery environments.
  • Exposure to digital transformation, cloud‑based platforms, or technology‑enabled operating models.
  • Professional certifications in change/transformation (e.g., Prosci, APMG, Lean) beneficial but not essential.
